Beginning in May of 2026 the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry will undertake a two-year rehabilitation of the Cass Bridge in North Dundas. The Cass Bridge is located on Highway 31, between Winchester and Winchester Springs, and sees as many as 5,000 vehicles per day transit its span.
May 15 is when shovels are expected to enter the ground on a rehabilitation project that will see a full deck removal and replacement, as well as associated repair work.
This will result in single-lane closures at the bridge until November. Please take extra time or plan an alternate route.
