Apply for a permit through Cloudpermit
Civic Number Signs and Entranceways require approval from the Township. Find information about the types of applications and the applicable fees below.
Permit Types
If you require a new civic number for a new home or an additional entrance to a property with an existing civic number, you must submit an application through Cloudpermit and pay the applicable fee.
Once processed, you will be issued a new number and the Roads Department will prepare and install the civic number sign.
If you have a preferred location for the sign, please indicate this in your application. You may also request that a member of the Roads Department contact you before installation to discuss the location.
Applicable fee: $75.00
If you require a new civic number for a farm entrance, you must submit an application through Cloudpermit and pay the applicable fee.
Once processed, you will be issued a new number and the Roads Department will prepare and install the civic number sign.

Applicable fee: $75.00
Entranceways are described as driveways, lanes, private roads, or other constructed means of access to the township road, which includes tiling, covering or filling in the roadside ditch to improve a lawn or other frontage.
A permit is required to ensure that maximum safety is maintained, the flow of traffic is not inhibited, that municipal by-laws are followed and to reduce possible interference with the road or create road maintenance problems. Please refer to Entrance Permit Bylaw No. 2025-50 and Policy 113-2025.
If you are looking to apply for a permit to install a new Entranceway, you must submit an application through Cloudpermit and pay the applicable fee.
Once processed, you will be issued a permit outlining the required specifications for the size of the entrance and culvert (if applicable).
Once the entrance is installed and complete, you can request an inspection with our Roads Department through Cloudpermit.

Entranceway permits on county roads must be applied for on the SD&G Counties website.
