The DION Ignite the Night Snowshoe Race is a nighttime winter running event held at the beautifully lit Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, ON. This unique race is part of the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Running Series and serves as a fundraiser in support of the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Foundation’s Family Care Fund.

Participants can choose between a 10 km points series race or a 5 km challenge, both taking place on a scenic 5 km loop through Upper Canada Village during its final night of seasonal lighting. With heritage buildings, trees, and fences illuminated, the course offers a memorable winter race experience.

All proceeds raised after expenses will support the Family Care Fund, which helps purchase medical equipment, upgrade existing resources, and address urgent needs at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
