Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Web Press Operator located in Winchester, ON. The Web Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining web press equipment to produce printed materials. They will be responsible for job setup, quality control, and the overall efficiency of the print run. The Web Press Operator will also ensure a culture of safety in the pressroom, including promoting and adhering to best safety practices.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years experience operating and maintaining web presses
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of web printing machinery and processes
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose potential equipment or processing issues
• Excellent attention to detail and color perception; able to distinguish subtle color variations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting job tickets and specifications
• Aptitude for adjusting ink and water levels, maintain and check print quality and registration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of RGS IV an asset (Training available)
• Clamp/fork truck license an asset (Training available)
• WHMIS required (Training available)
