After more than five decades of volunteer service, Don Levere has answered his final call.
Don joined North Dundas Fire Services Station 2 (Mountain) in May 1974 and served tirelessly as a volunteer firefighter, rising to the rank of Deputy Chief. On June 23, 2026, his fellow firefighters gathered to honour his extraordinary commitment to keeping our community safe.
Words cannot fully express our gratitude for Don's 52 years of dedication to North Dundas. Don's last page was called out by Katie Clattenburg, Supervisor, Ottawa Fire Services Dispatch Division.
