North Dundas reminds residents that nominations for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections, to be held on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, are now open. Individuals wishing to run for municipal council or school board trustee may file their nomination papers during regular business hours from May 1, 2026, to Aug. 20, 2026.
Candidates are encouraged to plan ahead and ensure their documentation is completed accurately and in full prior to filing. To support an efficient process, appointments are recommended for filing nomination papers. Interested candidates can schedule an appointment by contacting the Clerk’s Office at 613‑774‑2105, extension 226 or 235.
Please note that Nomination Day is Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, and on that date only, nomination papers will be accepted between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. No late filings will be accepted after the deadline.
