Please be advised that Fred Street West at St. Lawrence Street will be closed on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to the closure, there will be no access to Fred Street West from St. Lawrence Street.
Fred Street West, between St. Lawrence Street and Louise Street South, will be closed to through traffic but will remain open to local traffic only.
St. Lawrence Street will remain open to through traffic and will not be affected by the work.
This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate water valve repairs. The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan an alternate route and avoid the area whenever possible (see map).
