NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE (FORMER TOWNSHIP OF WINCHESTER) ZONING BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NORTH DUNDAS

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of North Dundas will hold a public meeting on the 7th day of February, 2023, at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers at 636 St. Lawrence Street, Winchester, Ontario to consider a proposed amendment to (Former Township of Winchester) Zoning By-law No. 12-93 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, P. 13, as amended.

THE PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT would change the zoning of the lands legally described as Part of Lot 10, Concession 9, now the Township of North Dundas, County of Dundas, being Part 2 on Plan 8R872, municipally known as 12771 County Road 3, Winchester, as indicated by the outlined area on the attached Key Map. The purpose is to rezone the property from Agricultural (AG) zone to Agricultural – Special Exception Forty-Three (AG-43) zone.

IF THE PROPOSED BY-LAW is adopted, the subject lands will be rezoned to Agricultural – Special Exception Forty-Three (AG-43) to allow the existing building to be used for a clinic in addition to the permitted uses of the Agricultural (AG) Zone.

IF YOU WISH TO BE NOTIFIED of the decision of the Township of North Dundas on the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Township of North Dundas, as noted below.

IF A PERSON or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of The Corporation of the Township of North Dundas to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of North Dundas before the By-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

IF A PERSON or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of North Dundas before the By-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
