UPDATE: The planned road closure on Belmeade Rd for culvert replacement has been rescheduled.
Culvert Replacement No. 1 (lane reduction) was completed as planned.
Culvert Replacement No. 2 (full road closure with detour), originally scheduled for September 11, has been delayed.
This closure will now take place on Monday, September 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please plan accordingly and follow the posted detour route. Thank you for your patience as this work is completed.
Please be advised of the following road construction notices for cross-culvert replacements which will impact traffic from September 9th to 11th on Belmeade Road:
- A portion of Belmeade Road at Pioneer Line Road will be reduced to one lane on Tuesday, September 9th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, September 10th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be traffic control measures in place and minimal delays are expected. There will be full access to Pioneer Line Road.
- A portion of Belmeade Road between civic #7334 and #7360 (approximately halfway between Acres Rd. and Pioneer Line Rd.) will be closed with no through traffic on Thursday, September 11th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Traffic will be diverted to surrounding local roads by way of appropriate signage. The detour route will include Acres Road, McDiarmid Road and Pioneer Line Road.
