The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is offering new dates for its Healthy Democracy Leadership Series: Stronger Leaders, Stronger Communities.
This free, online workshop series is designed to support individuals considering a run in the 2026 municipal elections, as well as current elected officials preparing for re-election. The program focuses on building leadership skills, resilience, wellbeing, and confidence in today’s increasingly complex political environment.
The series is offered in two dedicated streams: one for first-time candidates and one for municipal elected officials considering re-election in 2026. Each stream includes four sessions running between February and May 2026, covering topics such as values-based leadership, managing conflict, prioritizing mental health, and turning values into action.
