Villages of
Winchester and Chesterville Fire Hydrant Flushing May 5th
to May 16th
The Ontario Clean Water Agency
will be conducting scheduled maintenance of village fire
hydrants. This program is designed to ensure that our hydrants
will be ready if needed by the Fire Department.
This maintenance procedure is
routine but may result in some temporary minor inconveniences
such as reduced water pressure or “red” water. It is
recommended that all customers check for clear running water
prior to use EACH day.
IF COLOURED WATER IS DETECTED
-
Please open your COLD water taps to clear the
system.
-
The coloured water is not hazardous to your
health.
-
This situation is temporary and should not
last longer than two hours.
The staff of the Ontario Clean
Water Agency and the Township of North Dundas thank you for your
cooperation and understanding. |
