On behalf of Council may I extend a very sincere welcome to the Township of North Dundas.  The Township of North Dundas, amalgamated on January 1, 1998, is comprised of the former Townships of Winchester and Mountain and the villages of Chesterville and Winchester. 

Located in the heart of Eastern Ontario, North Dundas has a large agricultural economy and prides itself in having some of Eastern Ontario’s finest agricultural land.  Our community is home to many churches, service clubs, recreational facilities, health care services, including a growing community hospital, libraries and other groups including a historical society and an amateur theatre group.  This combination of urban and rural services and amenities provides for your living enjoyment.  

We believe you will quickly come to appreciate the rural setting of our Township and you will no doubt savour the close friendly atmosphere that so often has attracted other individuals such as yourself to reside and raise their families in North Dundas.
