The water and sewer department is responsible for providing potable water and sanitary sewer services to the Villages of Chesterville and Winchester and billing for those services. There are three staff members involved in these tasks. Manager: Angela Rutley – responsible for the water and sewer department, drafting and implementing policies and ensuring compliance with Provincial regulations. Billing Clerk: Mary Lynn Plummer – responsible for meter reading, billing and collection of accounts and setting up new accounts Administrative Assistant: Michelle McDonell – responsible for general inquiries and preauthorized payment plans The operation of the water and sewer systems is contracted to the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA).
