For your convenience the Township of North Dundas offers a variety of payment alternatives including:
Across the Tax Counter
- Payment
may be made at the Township of North Dundas, 636 St. Lawrence
Street, Winchester, Ontario. The Township is open Monday to Friday
8:30am to 4:30pm, excluding statutory holidays.
Mail
- Payments may be made through Canada Post. However, they must arrive in the Municipal Office by the due date. If you would like a receipt please include a self addressed stamped envelope.
Night-Time Mail Slot

A night-time mail slot has been installed at the Municipal Office at 636 St. Lawrence Street entrance for your after hours convenience
At Most
Chartered Banks and Financial Institutions in Canada
- You can pay your
taxes at most chartered banks and financial institutions in Canada.
You must present your original tax bill at the bank with your payment.
Post-Dated Cheques

The Township will accept post-dated cheques for payment of your taxes. However, if said cheque does not clear outstanding cheques interest, and/or penalty, will apply. A $25.00 fee is charged for every cheque which does not clear the bank.
Tele-payments

Telephone banking provides a payment option for ratepayers. If you wish to sign up for this option please contact your bank. The Township of North Dundas account number you will use for Tele-payments is your Roll Number. This number appears on your tax bill similar to the format indicated below.

Pre-Authorized Payment Plans

The Township has developed a pre-authorized payment plan which allows the ratepayer to pay their installments on the due date directly from their bank account into the Township's bank account. Pre-Authorized Application cards are available at the Municipal Office.

A second Pre-Authorized Payment Plan is also available which allows ratepayers to pay ten equal payments per year without accruing interest. The plan commences with the first payment being on February 20th and the last on November 20th of each year. To participate in this program your account must be up-to-date with no arrears. The municipality requires twenty days notice to sign up.
Receipts

If you require a receipt for any of your payments please enclose your original bill with payment along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
