4)     Birket Foster gave a presentation on the E Learning centre:

With the help of SDG Community Futures Development Program, Foster and Associates are hoping to bring a E learning centre to the area; they brought high speed internet to area.  The E learning center will bring the classroom to the people instead of people having to travel all over to update certifications and upgrade courses etc.  The hospital will be a pilot project - through the use of computers and internet, hospital staff can upgrade as needed without leaving premises.  An E learning center would also attract new business which in turn creates jobs which in turn brings growth to the community.  Everyone wins.   In order to do all this, Birket needs the help of the Chamber(business community to write letters of support for such a project..  A sample letter will be e mailed to all businesses in Chamber - please make any adjustments to this letter, sign it and return to Mr. Foster.

 5)    From this point on, minutes of Chamber meetings will be posted on North Dundas web site.  Owen will notify members when minutes are posted and anyone wishing to read them can do so.

6)     Report  by Connie on Wine and Cheese Social -  25 attended - less than last year.   It was held at Chesterville Legion - great hosts.  A donation of $100 was made to the Legion;  a similar donation was made to Winchester Lions Club for use of their hall last year.
