1.  Call to order by Gerry at 7:30pm 

2.  Attendance: Gerry Boyce, Sandra Vasey, Sandie Puddephatt, Butch Oldford, John Vanbruinessen, Heather Irwin, and guest Carrie LaFlamme 

3.  No additions to agenda 

4.  Map Committee report:  had meeting beginning of August and decided to what majority of membership wanted.  At present it is a dead issue but should be brought up again in the fall to see if there is more interest.  There was a total of 28 answering the poll sent out by John V. with 17 in favor and 11 maybe's.  Sandra V. felt that more members might be interested in fall as many are away over summer.  Carrie LaFlemme is a cartologist and is offering her help with the map should we go ahead.  She said she cannot make the map but can give guidance. 

5.  Gerry will go to Township office to request that a council member be present at our meetings to better the communication between council and the Chamber.    

6.  Treasurer's Report:  $4932.86 in Royal account   $1368.89 in Bank of Montreal

 Winchester ward has $3548.34  Chesterville ward has $100.00   South Mountain ward has $225.00   Winchester has that amount because it was agreed by the membership at a previous meeting that the monies left from the former Winchester Chamber be left with the Winchester ward. 

7.   Gerry put forth suggestion that the Chamber have it's own website separate from the North Dundas site - no discussion 

8.   Butch suggested that we have a candidates meeting for the business people.  Those running for election should attend so that we can get to know them, hear their plans for the township if elected and answer questions from the floor.  Letters should be sent to each candidate requesting their presence.  Meeting to take place on October 15 at 7:30 pm in the Winchester Old Town Hall.  Announcement to be put in paper closer to the date. 

9.   Heather has a sign for the Chamber of Commerce to be used at shows etc in a booth to promote Chamber.  The sign was donated by Rob Saunders. 

10.  Next meeting - Sept. 17, 2003 at 7:30 am at Louis' Restaraunt in Chesterville.  John V. will make reservation.
